The Power of Intentional Design

Have you ever moved to a new city and felt the excitement of starting fresh, only to realize that your furniture doesn’t quite fit? That’s precisely what our clients experienced after several years of constantly moving. But when they finally settled back in Denver, they saw it as an opportunity to upgrade their furniture and define their style.

With a desire to be intentional about their interior design, our clients turned to the Beautiful Habitat team to transform their living room and primary bedroom into stunning and functional spaces. The couple shared common design sense but no idea how to execute it.

In their moves, our clients had collected an assortment of furniture. They were excited about building a new home in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. As it provided them a chance to intentional design and up-level their furniture and define their style.

Living Room

The family loves to listen to music and has a specialty audio system (next to the fireplace). The vision for this room was a serene and comfortable space, without a TV, where guests could relax, enjoy music, and entertain themselves. The Beautiful Habitat team took that a step further by designing a sophisticated adult space. The swivel chairs allow for conversation or enjoying the fireplace or view.

We enhanced the function of the space by adding color, texture, and pattern through eye-catching upholstery, pillows, and drapery.

Bedroom

The Beautiful Habitat team also designed the primary bedroom as a sanctuary, a retreat for the couple. The home design features a peaked roof, which we highlighted with beautiful grasscloth wallpaper and a four-poster bed. Inspired by our client’s love for nature and strong architectural elements, we incorporated bolder lines in the wallpaper, lamps, and metal bed frame. And for a touch of tranquility, we softened the entire look with a soothing color scheme.

In conclusion, the clients were thrilled to finally settle back in Denver and create a home that reflected their style and personality. With the help of the Beautiful Habitat team, they transformed their living room and primary bedroom into stunning spaces catering to their specific needs and desires. By carefully selecting furniture and incorporating pops of color and texture, the team was able to elevate the design and functionality of both rooms.

So, whether you’re planning a move or simply looking to refresh your current home, remember to be intentional about your choices and create a space that truly reflects who you are. As the saying goes, “A well-designed room is a happy room.”
