7 Tips on Painting Your Cabinets
Here are a few projects our team did that transformed our client’s kitchens by simply painting the cabinets.
New Custom Made mixed with Existing Cabinets: WE Painted both to look like NEW Cabinets
Our client was a custom cabinet who wanted to update their old and tired looking kitchen to a more modern and fresh look.
The bottom cabinets were functioning and in good shape but they did not like the top cabinets.
Since he is a custom cabinet maker he was able to build the upper cabinets.
We then came in and painted both the new and the existing with layers of glazes to create depth and movement.
Of course, our clients were thrilled!
High-end Custom Cabinets that were Dark and Dated
We were working in a home where we had done a lot of custom wall finishes to refresh and update it.
We had updated other area’s which made the kitchen looked more dark and outdated.
The off white cabinet paint color selected, was coordinated with colors from the counter top as the client did not want to, or need to change it out.
The overglaze we did on the doors not only softened the white but also brought out the depth of the surrounding moldings to maintain a classic look with a contemporary punch.
