Painted Cabinets: Before and After’s

We added some drama and sophistication to these tired-looking oak cabinets with a dark-painted base and a black overglaze.


The powder room walls and barrel vault ceiling below are finished with a custom silver leaf technique.

From outdated to sophisticated, we transformed this powder room by using hand-applied silver leaf on the walls and punctuating original woodwork black.

The dining room barrel vault ceiling was previously white. It became a stunning addition by optimizing the beauty and reflectivity of hand-applied silver leaf.

Below, we updated rather than replacing a 15 year old kitchen with a new color and enhancement of the existing architectural details with gold paint.

This wine bar was part of a kitchen update. We painted it grey and then added a black chiffon glaze to tie it in with the existing backsplash.

Simple Refresh – these Oak cabinets were  painted white for a new fresh contemporary look.

The original cabinets were builder grade and dated. Painted cabinets are ever so popular, but a lot of homeowners still love the look of wood. That was the case for this project so we renewed them with a walnut gel stain.

Oh, what a difference! We updated the cherry cabinets below by painting them with a soft solid taupe color with an overglaze.
