New Home Construction: Romantic

Being involved in a New Home Construction is one of the most exciting projects for interior designers.

It allows their creatively to flow as they are working with a blank slate!

This was certainly the case for this project involving a new build on thirty-five acres in prime Douglas County horse country!

Rustic Farmhouse Chic/ New Construction 4,000-7,000 sq ft.

Dan Fuller, owner of Haley Custom Homes asked Marina to help match his clients with their perfect designer.

Marina interviewed the Cronklin’s and easily matched them with a designer that was perfect for them and who would work well with the Dan the builder as well.

We used a lot of different woods like antique, reclaimed, oak, knotty oak, and alder.

We started on this project when it was on the drawing board.

With four kids, dogs and a relaxed lifestyle, function and reclaimed materials won out over fussy!

We used weathered materials, antiques and whimsical touches as well as automated shades tucked into ghost wood frames.
White marble floors combined with double-sided vanity and mirrors framed on Ghost wood hung from rustic chains create a rustic yet romantic master bathroom.
